Alane Alchorn: Eventing and Pony Club

Alane Alchorn is a lifelong rider and horse manager who enjoys all facets of horsemanship and horse care. She began with Santa Cruz Pony Club in 1959, and rode with Casanova Hunt PC in 1966-67 when her dad was assigned on a Washington, DC, project. Alane has evented through Preliminary and shown dressage though Second Level. She also holds two California State Horsemanship Championships (lifetime awards) -- one in Combined English/Western, and the other in Jumping.
